Private Elementary School is seeking Substitute Teachers for 4th. 5th. or 6th Grade ELA and/or Math/Science for immediate assignment for the 2022-2023 School Year (due to maternity leaves).
Positions are flexible as Part-Time (part of a day or Half Day (9-12 or 12:30-3:45) or Full-Time (9-3:45).

• Conduct lessons for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and experiential work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
  •Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet individual students' needs and interests.
  • Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. NOTE: As a Substitute Teacher, Lesson Plans and Materials will already be developed. There may be flexibility in how you implement the Lessons, depending on experience of the candidate.
  · Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
  • Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, and social development. Communicate regularly with parents, Resource staff, and Administration regarding students' progress.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in education (e.g. elementary, special education, etc.). NOTE: Certification is not required
2 or more years of classroom teaching experience, in an Elementary/Middle School setting.
